WHY
Corredoiras?
A CORREDOIRA is a narrow path between walls where only a car of cows fits.
They cross Galicia from north to south and from east to west with rational routes and through beautiful landscapes, where there will be no shortage of fellow locals to chat with. If you follow the Portuguese Way or do any route through our environment you will see that they run through corredoiras that intermingle with each other.
Our hostel is located in CORREDOIRA DA BARCA, which ends at the river Sar in what used to be Porto Murgadán, a small inland port where, until the end of the Middle Ages, ships with merchandise accessed and where, according to tradition, the disciples of the Sant James Apostle they brought his body in a stone boat. They tied the boat to a Roman altar, the Pedrón, which gave rise to the town’s name and which can be visited in Padrón, in the church of Santiago, from then until today.

Eccelente albergue, pulito e moito ben organizzaio, adequaio alle esigenze dei pellegrini. Prezioso il servizio di lavanderia, efficentissimo e veloce.
Limpio, sábanas, toalla, taquilla, enchufe y luz en litera, cocina muy bien equipada con leche, cacao, té… a disposición del peregrino,trato muy amable y si llegas antes de las 17:00h. te lavan la ropa y te la dejan doblada en la litera. Un lujazo!!
INCREIBLE…, la primera impresión parecía caro, pero es lo mejor de todos los albergues que he estado, llevo 2 años haciendo el camino y lo mejor de lo mejor, lavabos, duchas con regulación temperatura, limpio, literas de latex grandes, cubre colchones anti bacterias, armario con llave y enchufe en el interior, hasta las 17:00 nos lavaron la ropa, toalla…, hay que verlo, lo aconsejo sin dudas, el trato excelente.UN 10.

Sehr moderne und funktionale Einrichtung. Mehrere separate Duschen, Toiletten. Schließfach, Handtuch,frisches Bettlaken, frische dünne Zudecke für jedes Bett.Wäsche waschen/ trocknen inklusive! Küche mit frei Kaffee, Tee, Kakao. Schuh-trockner vorhanden.
Sehr viel Platz, ideal für Pilger.
Whatever you wish from alberque – they have it! Fully equipped kitchen , modern bathroom (even for disabled pilgrims:)), very comfortable beds (bedsheets and towels). I had a very good sleep there before the last 25km on Camino. Thank you!

He hecho el Camino portugues del litoral desde Oporto. ESta fue la ultima noche antes de llegar a Santiago y merecio la pena pagar los 16€ de estancia ya que el confort es maximo: Camas muy comodas con luz y enchufe propio. Muy limpio y nuevo. Te ofrecen gratis la leche y agua fresca. Te lavan, secan y doblan la ropa y te la dejan encima de tu cama. Puedes cocinarte. Duchas impecables. Duermes en sabana de hilo y te dan toalla limpia. Wifi gratis y acceso a internet (2 puestos). Juegos para niños y adultos y paraguas por si llueve. QUE MAS SE PUEDE PEDIR!
평이 좋은 대로 정말 좋은 곳이었다. ‘좋은 곳’이라는 말은 시설도 좋았지만 순례객들이 무엇이 필요한지 아는 곳이었다. 빨래는 바구니를 주는데 그 바구니에 넣을 수 있는 만큼 넣으면 4유로에 빨래와 건조까지 다 해준다. 침대는 17명이 한 방에 잔다. 너무 많지는 않아 괜찮았다. 침대도 넓고 편안했다. 주방과 식당도 넓은 편이고 샤워 변기도 각각 4칸씩 있어 충분히 넓다. 샤워기 수압도 강하고 우유도 무제한으로 제공되어 좋다! 가장 좋았던 것은 신발 건조기가 있었다. 이 날 비가 많이 와 신발이 다 젖었는데 뽀송뽀송 다 말릴 수 있었다.
Accueil très bien, sanitaires très propres. Le plus on vous lave et sèche votre linge et le rapporte sur votre lit, tout ça compris dans la nuitée. Beau coin cuisine. Dortoir spacieux avec ses petits rideaux Excellent excellent.
Me pareció un albergue “de lujo” la recepción muy agradable, las instalaciones muy limpias y se veían bastante nuevas. Si entregas la ropa sucia antes de las 17:00 te la lavan, secan y planchan, dejándotela en la cama. Camas muy cómodas, la mejor cama en que he dormido en todo el camino, fue un oasis
This apparently new albergue offers comfortable pod like bunks that have adequate space, an electrical outlet, a light and clean bedding. There’s some common space that doesn’t encourage loitering, and toilets and showers that get the job done. WiFi is good, and lockers and front door entrance are designed with efficiency in mind. You’ll be happy to stay here for a night.
Personale preparato ad ogni evenienza! Incluso nel prezzo ti fanno una lavatrice e ti seccano i vestiti! Per i giorni di pioggia hanno un sistema per asciugare le scarpe. 100% soddisfatto
Один из лучших хостелов на пути Сантьяго. Есть всё необходимое для пилигримов. Удобные кровати со шторками, постельным бельем и теплым пледом, лампочка, розетка и полочка для каждого спального места, запирающиеся шкафчики для рюкзаков, стиральная машина, холодильник, плита, микроволновка, полный набор посуды. Несколько душевых с гелем для душа и шампунем.

One of the best private hostels i stayed in on portuguese camino over the two weeks ,easy to find in padron ,,the hostel is new clean and on checking in the man was very welcoming and informative ,,laundry was included in the cost of the bed which was very welcoming ,,each bed had a locker attached to it with a socket for charging phone etc ..kitchen area was small but very clean and had a common room just inside the front door with a tv and computer with internet .. overall a very good experience on last night on camino

Espectacular albergue, de largo el mejor que me he encontrado en tres años haciendo sendos Caminos. Si todos los albergues fueran así, el Camino sería mucho más fácil. Servicios y comodidades prestados con sencillez y discreción; lavandería incluida, literas cómodas, amplias y con cortinillas; todo limpísimo… Se merece que lo recomiende una, dos y tres veces. Gracias.
Lo último en albergues! Todo diseñado con mucha practicidad y muy moderno y acogedor: literas cómodas con cortina y luz individual, taquillas con enchufe, cocina hiperequipada, zona común con ordenadores e internet, lavadora secadora ecologica, duchas estupendas… Y con mucho detalle de pegatinas indicativas y decoración. Excelente!

Tijdens onze reis op de Camino Portugues was dit de fijnste albergue. Het is vrolijk ingericht, alle denkbare voorzieningen zijn aanwezig, mooie en schone wc’s en doucheruimtes, de was wordt gratis voor je gedaan, kluizen aanwezig voor je rugzak, maar het fijnste was dat je slaapt in een bedstee met lampje en stopcontact waardoor je privacy had. Kleinschalig van opzet, je kan al vanaf 13:00 uur inchecken, leuk dorpje en gelegen aan de camino. Gratis handdoek en beddengoed. Echt aan alles is gedacht. Met 16 euro per nacht wel een van de duurdere hostels, maar dat was het dubbel en dwars waard.
Reservamos este albergue para el grupo y no pudimos quedar más contentos. El personal es muy atento, hasta nos lavaron y secaron la ropa incluido en el precio. Las camas son comodísimas y en las duchas había agua caliente PARA TODOS, ya que al ir en grupo los últimos siempre pringan sin agua caliente. Aunque no incluye desayuno, en la cocina hay café, infusiones y cola cao gratis. Hubo gente del grupo que hizo la cena y el menaje es muy completo, hay de todo para cocinar. Un albergue de 10.
Quem pensou, cuidou e tornou esse albergue uma realidade certamente compreeende como o peregrino se sente ao longo da sua jornada. Saio daqui revigorada e nutrita. Obrigada

Padrón is a small town of medieval origin that arises at a crossroads, a place of Jacobean pilgrimages. It belongs to the Sar shire and together with Rois and Dodro offer an important cultural, ethnographic and natural heritage.
Its historical center stands out, its gastronomic wealth, with the Herbón pepper at the head and the Sunday Market in the open air, one of the largest in Spain.
The situation of Padrón is ideal to use it as a base location to get to know Galicia.
